5 of 5 people found the following review helpful. Fits: 2006 Xterra By Ben This is the one. Replaced my weak factory supports (2006 Xterra) in about 10 minutes. I tied the lift gate up to my garage rafters with some nylon rope, and did the rest with a simple flathead screwdriver. Removed the old U-clips, popped off the old supports, and literally snapped on the new ones. To be honest, I was a little disappointed it didn't take very long. Got my tool kit out for nothing! Fits the 2006 perfectly, holds the hatch up like a champ. No more bumps on the head or loading up groceries one-handed.

These cylinders were very easy to replace, took about one minute per side, and are very strong. This is a good product and was delivered in a timely manner.

Oil Change Socket By Wheatgerm Searched Amazon.com for an oil filter for my HHR and found one for a very reasonable price and shipping arrangement as well along with this special socket.. Yes I would duplicate this order again. The price beat all local prices on this item and all Internet Prices I searched so needless to say I made the purchase along with a few other items needed and related. The free shipping was included with the purchase of these additional items and this review will be cut and pasted to those items as they are reviewed along with one added piece of information on the special socket for the oil cap removal review. This socket is made in the USA and designed especially for removing the oil filter cap on HHR Chevrolet 2.2 and 2.4 Ecotec 4 Cylinder engines and probably will work on many other applications as the same engine is used in Saturns and Cobalts as well as other General Motors Vehicles too. It is necessary to clear the Intake Manifold and be able to fit the hex nut on the plastic top of the Oil Filter Housing Cap. It is 3/8" drive and steel and will last a lifetime as it never touches metal during its use and is worth its weight in Gold when trying to do the job without it. Regular sockets don't fit on the HHR and there is no room for large wrenches which have to be 1 1/4" to fit the cap nut so often pliers are substituted and this can crack the plastic nut or cut it or even break it because pressure has to be applied to the pliers in order for it to grip the cap. Do yourself a favor if you plan to service your own HHR etc. buy this socket and save time and accidents and possibly even engine damage due to oil leaks from a cracked oil filter housing cap. This socket and a long 3/8" drive extension and a ratchet will be all you need for the filter removal and you won't be sorry you bought it, I know I am not. As noted on the socket it is not meant for use with and impact wrench, hand wrench use only which is most commonly what you would be doing anyway in the first place for this procedure.

With this filter wrench I'm able to access and filter and not have to worry about getting a wrench in the small area and possibly stripping the thread on the filter. VERY recommended for Ecotech/Cobalt owners!

Clean your MAF Sensor each time you clean your filter for a boost of power and smooth idle. I have been using K&N now for over 10 years and put them in all of my vehicles race or stock. They work well for me.

4 of 5 people found the following review helpful. K&N filter oil aerosol By RSL1 This is a good size to buy and is enough oil to service a filter several times. The K&N oil has red dye in it so you can see when you have achieved full coverage. Great filters that when maintained, one filter will last as long as the car will last. Catches dirt better than the paper filters. The K&N filter gave my truck a slight increase in acceleration. When I removed a new clean paper Fram filter and put the K&N in, I took it for a road test. On a dry asphalt road, straight line acceleration from a stop, my truck broke the tires loose every time. Put the Fram back in as a test and it was again not quite able to do it. Put the K&N back in and again it was able to break the tires loose every time. Never quite had enough power to do that before. Not a huge difference but a difference none the less. When you clean your K&N be sure NOT to use hot water while cleaning. Hot water can make the filter shrink in places, causing it to become uneven. After cleaning and recoating with the oil. Mine still looks just like a new one. I put the K&N in while the truck was almost brand new and now it has 234,000 miles on it in 13 years. Same air filter and the engine has never been apart. The engine absolutely has wear, but no smoke yet and still runs good.
